If you're leaving home this weekend for All Souls Day (especially if you're going to a province) you better get your bags ready... or better yet, your car! Here's a shortlist of things we believe parents shouldn't forget to bring in the car especially when going on long trips with your kids.

1. Snacks, Milk and/or Bottles of Water
You may have planned your next stopover, but you can never plan when to get hungry. And you don't want kids raging for food inside the car too.

2. Books
For the bored little ones so they have something to read, or so you have something to read for them while on a trip. A smartphone app works too, but a book may come in handy.

3. Extra clothes, Tissue, First Aid Kit
Everything that's good for an emergency. You'll never know when your kid's going to spill some juice over his shirt. And remember to keep some band aids for little boo-boos (and diapers for bum-bums!)

4. Blankets
To keep baby warm inside the car. We know kids and how they always fall asleep inside the car when in traffic. A good-sized blanket (we actually recommend SwaddleDesigns blankets as you can use it for other things, and not just as a blanket) to keep them warm is a must.

Have a safe trip, everyone!
