DIY Felt Gift Pouches

Today we’re making something easy yet beautiful: gift wrap and a pouch. Right in time for Christmas! So if you’re looking for a unique way to wrap your gift this season, we suggest following this project inspired from Oh Joy! & Co. Simple, easy and beautiful.

Estimated time to finish: 10-20 minutes.

 

You will need:

1. 4.25x11in Felt Fabric - We got ours from Oh Joy & Co. You can use any size that fits your gift.
2. 1” White Ribbon (Wired) - You can also use satin ribbons for a softer and classy feel.

And we can already sense that confidence you’re having just by reading the materials. Other things you will need are: Glue gun and glue sticks.

Let’s get down to crafting.

 

Cut the felt fabric into two. One longer than the other so it serves as the flap later on. Glue the sides

together.

Put your gift inside the pouch and close the flap.

Tie a ribbon to your wrapper. Optional: Using the glue gun, glue the ribbon to the back part of the pouch so it doesn't come off. Clean the tips of the ribbon by cutting diagonally.

And it’s done! The person who will receive this gift can use this as a catch all pouch too.

You can also stitch the sides, but using a glue gun should be enough too. And yes, we

made it pink for WeLuvMoms!

We also made a larger version. Use a larger piece of fabric and you can make a bigger gift pouch and a catch-all wallet at the same time!
