Serves 5 to 6 adults. Finger licking, gooey chicken wings are sure to please any crowd. This sweet glaze is simple to make.
3 gloves galic
1 pc 3-inch sized peeled ginger- chopped
2/3 cup peach or apricot jam
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp water
1 tsp of sesame oil (check for allergies if using sesame oil) or olive oil
pinch (3/4 tsp) of salt and pepper
4 lb chicken wings (remove the wing tips if preferred)

Using a blender or hand held food processor chop up garlic and
ginger. Add the apricot jam, soy sauce, water and sesame oil (if using).
Pulse until sauce is combined.
Season the the chicken wings with with salt and pepper (just a pinch) then pour the sauce for at least 3 hours (best is over night).
When ready to cook. Using your oven preheat at 300ºF.
Line a baking tray with aluminum foil place a rack on top of the baking tray. Brush the rack with vegetable oil to lessen the sticking of the chicken wings. Place the Chicken wings on the rack (line them up do not overlap the wings) have the nice skin side of the wings facing up. Baste the wings with the marinade then place inside the oven. After 5 mins lower heat to 240ºF , flip the chicken wings after 20 mins.baste with marinade and let cook for 10 mins. Flip the wings again baste with marinade again and cook for 10 mins. This should give that nice lacquered-golden brown finish.
Cooking Tip:
1) Baste the chicken 3 times during the total 45 mins cooking period using the marinade.
2) you can opt to cook this on a grill as well as medium coal heat for 30 mins.
Party Preparation Tip:
Preparation can be done a day ahead of your party and cooked 1 hour before you serve.
