Make It TREEmendous: DIY Family Christmas Wreath

 photo PageTitleDivider_zps99fb0b25.png
We're really excited because Christmas is near and people are already starting to put decorations for their houses, including us! We wanted to make something "tree"mendous and something our readers will keep after crafting, so we decided to teach everyone how to make a family Christmas wreath.

Estimated time to finish project:
45 minutes

You will need:
1. MDF Letter Board - We used "W" for WeLuvMoms! But you can use a different letter that stands for Family Surname. You can get this at Oh Joy! & Co. or you can cut one out using an illustration board. The bigger the letter, the better.
2. Plastic Christmas Garland - We will put this on the letter board.
3. Garland - This will be used as the letter board's base after decorating it.
4. LED Christmas Lights - To give our wreath some glow.

Other things you will need are: Crafting wire, wire cutter, glue gun and glue sticks.

And we will never get sick of saying... let's get down to crafting!

First, pull out the plastic leaves off the plastic garlands.

Apply glue gun on the letter board for the plastic garland to stick on. You may want to apply the glue at the edge of the board and not at the center, because it will put all the leaves too close to each other that the letter will not be visible anymore - Do the same for E, F, M, N, H. One-stroke and simple letters like S, C, U are an exception. For those letters, you can apply glue at the center.

Glue the plastic leaves alternately: Gold and green to the board one by one, until you cover up the whole letter. Make sure to leave a space of an inch distance in between each plastic garland.

Build until you cover the whole piece.

While waiting for the glue to dry, form your garland into a circular wreath making sure that there are no spaces in between the leaves.

Attach the “W” onto the garland using your craft wire.

Attach the LED lights around the wreath and around the "W."

And here's your finished product. Now it's time to hang it on your door.

It looks perfect both in the morning and at night! Now hang it on your door, and it's already shouting "It's Christmas!" And you have something to show to your friends too when they visit. It's a very nice decoration to display and keep.
