How To Make Fruit Skewers

 photo PageTitleDivider_zps99fb0b25.png
A good way to encourage your child to eat more fruits is to thread chunks of different fruits on to skewers. Use bamboo skewers or thin straws.

Use any combination of the following fruits
Seedless Grapes
Chunks of Pineapple
Slices of Kiwi fruit
Strawberries
Chunks of Mango
Chunks of Plum
Half of Melon and or Watermelon (seedless) made into balls
Option to add a bit of honey (if no allergies)

Prepare all the fruits and place in bowls. Add honey if using, mix well so the honey spreads or coats with the fruits.
Take a chunk of each of your chosen fruits and thread them, one at a time, on to each skewer, to provide a colorful and fun mix.

Party Preparation Tip: Push the skewers in a half melon and serve. This looks nice as a dessert buffet center piece too.

Serving Tip: If serving to a younger child please remove fruits from skewers and cut up to smaller pieces before serving.
